Police in Fairfield say no charges will be filed after a 4-year-old wandered out of her house and across the street.
It happened Tuesday morning on Tunxis Hill Road.
According to police, the child and her 19-year-old sister, who was baby-sitting, were both sleeping when the child got out of bed, unlocked the door and walked across the street.
A mail carrier was luckily in the area and stopped the girl.
She was reunited with her sister after only a few minutes.
