Home Depot and Lowe's have both announced big Labor Day weekend sales.

Both home improvement retailers are selling basic mulch in red, black, or brown for just $2 a bag, a 30 to 40-percent savings.

A two-pack of Kingsford charcoal is on sale for $9.88 at Lowe's, or more than 50-percent off.

At Home Depot, all Weber grills are being discounted by $50.

Patio furniture is also being discounted up to 75-percent at Lowe's.

Prices are valid all the way through Sept. 13 in some cases

Shipping is free for many orders too.
