A student without an FAA certificate was piloting a plane that crashed in New Milford last month, according to the NTSB.

As News 12 reported, the Cessna aircraft crashed while attempting to land at Candlelight Farms Airport on Aug. 11.

The pilot was killed in the crash, and two others were injured.

Authorities say there was no flight plan filed, and the NTSB report shows that the pilot, who was enrolled at Arrow Aviation, had logged only 15 hours of flight time.
