Families battle pouring rain for Fairfield U. move-in

Close to 1,000 students moved into Fairfield University in the pouring rain Sunday.
For about four hours, hundreds of volunteers used ponchos, tarps and carts to help students and their stuff get moved in quickly.
"We definitely planned for this," says new student leader Aidan Danaher. "We knew about a week in advance that the rain was coming so we bought a bunch of tarps yesterday, we have tents and honestly we are just trying to have a system that gets everyone moved in as quickly as possible."
Classes begin Wednesday for all students.
