Both CBS and sports radio WFAN say they are cooperating with federal authorities as they investigate morning show co-host Craig Carton.
Carton was arrested at his home in Manhattan.
He and another man allegedly created a phony ticket selling business that bilked investors out of millions.
Carton's co-host, Boomer Esiason, says he didn't know anything about the investigation.
"I'm taken back and surprised by it, just like I'm sure everybody else is,” says Esiason. “I have no other information. There's nothing else I can say. I thought he called in sick this morning, but unfortunately my partner was arrested. So, I guess there'll be more news to come, I'm sure from somewhere, but it's not going to come from me, because I don't have any."
WFAN has suspended Carton indefinitely.
Phil Simms filled in for him this morning.
