Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Amazon is searching for a second headquarters to be built somewhere in North America.

The company is planning to invest more than $5 billion to open the new location, with the capacity to employ 50,000 people. Its desired location is near a city with a population of more than 1 million people and within 45 minutes of an airport.

Meanwhile, Hulu and Spotify are joining forces to provide music and TV streaming services through one subscription plan. The plan is currently only open to college students for $4.99 a month.

Finally, Disney CEO Bob Iger has set a 2019 launch date for the company's streaming service that will have exclusive rights to Pixar, Disney and “Star Wars” films.
