Bridgeport police released surveillance video of a weapons heist at Bass Pro Shops that happened earlier this week.
The video, taken around 2 a.m. Monday morning, depicts three suspects crossing the street in the direction of the Bass Pro Shops store.
The suspects smashed an exterior window of the store and made their way inside.
Authorities say that one suspect then went behind a counter and pulled a rifle off the wall. The gun was an old-fashioned muzzle-loader, a vintage, specialty weapon sometimes used for hunting, according to police.
All three then made their getaway, though they did startle a passing taxi before scurrying into the shadows.
Detectives are continuing to study the video for more details, and hope to receive additional footage that could identify their vehicle.
Police say that suspects bold enough to break into a store like Bass Pro Shops in clear view of cameras are likely to strike again if they aren't found.
