Connecticut United Ride held to honor Sept. 11 victims, soldiers

The annual Connecticut United Ride was held Sunday to honor those who died in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Thousands of bikers took part in the event.
Organizers say the Connecticut United Ride also honors fallen soldiers who died serving in the wars after the attack.
Spectators said watching the tribute reminded them how shared pain and healing is powerful enough to bring Connecticut together.
"It's prideful, to see everyone coming together. The country seems to be and a little bit of turmoil right now but to sort of remember this date and honor their memories of people we lost and who fight for our freedoms right now,” said Mack Sullivan, of Norwalk.
