A Bridgeport man with special needs was recognized by state and local leaders Saturday for the work he does in his own neighborhood.
Leon O'Neal, 38, has been mowing lawns, cleaning out garages and doing other work for senior citizens, single and working mothers and others who have disabilities.
He says he spends hundreds of hours every year doing the work at no charge.
