State police say one person was killed in a crash on the Merritt Parkway Sunday morning.
It happened in the northbound lanes between exits 35 and 36, near Stamford and New Canaan.
The vehicle went down an embankment, and the driver was pronounced dead.
The driver's identity has not been released at this time.
It's not clear what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.
