Mexicans in Bridgeport worry about loved ones following earthquake

Mexicans who live in western Connecticut say they are worried about loved ones who have been affected by Tuesday's large earthquake -- the second in roughly two weeks.
Bridgeport has one of the largest Mexican populations in the state.
Alberto Diego works at Garibaldi-Cositas Ricas, a Bridgeport restaurant and deli. Diego says the latest quake hit near his hometown of Oaxaca, which is 300 miles from Mexico City. Two weeks ago, an even stronger quake hit Oaxaca and leveled buildings. Diego says he checked in with relatives and his family is OK.
"I was scared, because when they showed all the states that were affected, one of them was mine," Diego says.
Socorro Silva, who works down the street from Diego, is also from Oaxaca and says her family is also OK. But what she saw made her very upset, she says.
"I'm praying for God to make them stronger," she says.
Diego and Silva say they are sending home food, clothes and money to help with the recovery.
