Police in Bridgeport are investigating after a man says he was robbed at gunpoint.
It happened last night between 9 and 11 p.m. at La Grand Market Deli and Restaurant on Grand Avenue.
The man says some shots were fired, but he says no one was injured.
According to the owner, the man went inside the store, pointed a gun at him and his customers, asked for money, and then started shooting.
The owner says he gave money to the thief who then ran away.
“Of course, we always get scared,” says Hector German. “Every time somebody shoots a gun, you don't know even the possibility, you can be alive or dead.”
Police are still looking for the suspect.
