Retirement ceremony held for rear admiral from Greenwich

A ceremony was held Sunday for a Greenwich man who is retiring from the US Navy.
A police boat from Greenwich carried Rear Admiral John Weigold to the Stamford Yacht Club for the ceremony.
The pomp and circumstance at the event was a celebration of his 37 years of military service.
Weigold is not only leaving the military, but saying goodbye to Connecticut.  He will soon join his wife who works for Google in the Bay Area of San Francisco.
Wiegold says he's looking forward to playing Johnny Cash songs on the guitar and wearing Birkenstocks with no socks in California.
