The inaugural Fairfield Food Truck Festival took place Sunday at Jennings Beach.

Some of the trucks featured were pizza, hot dog and coffee-themed.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fairfield Public Library's initiatives and programs.

The library recently had to cut back on spending. Organizers say the event will help make up their budget gap.

News 12 has learned that there are plans to hold a bigger festival next year.
