Two men threatened and robbed a Norwalk gas station clerk with a knife Friday morning, police say.
Imran Vohra, the clerk, says he saw the two near a gas pump at the Shell station at 94 West Ave. and thought they were customers. One came in and asked for $10 worth of gas. Then the other, wearing a mask, rushed behind the counter and announced the robbery, the clerk says.
"I thought they were joking, but they took out a knife and said we're seriously robbing you," Vohra says. "I had to open the register for him."
News 12 is told only one other employee was at the gas station when it happened.
Police say no one was hurt.
The men fled toward South Norwalk in a silver car.
