Ford is offering free repairs for more than one million Explorers.
There are concerns over possible carbon monoxide leaks.
The automaker initially offered repairs for the law enforcement version of the SUV, but now customers can take their 2011 to 2017 Explorer to any Ford dealer for repairs.
The free repairs last from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31.
Ford isn't calling it a "recall," instead saying the repairs are for "peace of mind.”
