Stratford school principal honored in Washington, D.C.

STRATFORD -

A school principal from Stratford gets national honors.

Carla Armistead from Chapel Street School in Stratford was honored in Washington, D.C. this week by the National Association of elementary school principals.

Armistead led Eli Whitney School before being handpicked by Stratford's superintendent to help turn around The Chapel Street School.
