Some of the best burgers in the country are right in Connecticut.

Foodandwine.com came out with a list of the 28 best burgers in the U.S, and making the list were three from Connecticut!

Louis' Lunch in New Haven made the list at #17 for its original burger, prepared with a combination of chuck and sirloin beef.

Ted's in Meriden also made the list at #22 for its signature burger, a steamed cheeseburger with Vermont cheddar.

Shake Shack made the list as well!

The top three consisted of burgers from Memphis, San Francisco, and Los Angeles
