Sherwood State Park hosts third Mac & Chili Challenge

Sherwood Island State Park hosted the third annual Mac and Chili Challenge Sunday, with all proceeds going to the Turtle Shell Foundation and its support for educational enrichment programs.
News 12 met with contenders at Simply Delicious to learn about their “Jacked Mac & Cheese” dish.
The Jacked Mac & Cheese is described as a pigtail pasta covered with six different cheeses, buffalo chicken skin, bacon, roasted jalapenos and caramelized onions.
Those at Simply Delicious say they were also serving their barbecue brisket chili that received second place last year.
