Anti-hate march set for Wilton Saturday

A Weston man's slightly misinterpreted social media post has led to a march against hatred in Wilton Saturday.
After a number of anti-Semitic incidents at the Middlebrook Middle School, Scott Milnor, the Weston man, posted a picture of himself holding a sign that reads "No Place for Anti-Semitism in Wilton" and "Come Walk."
He says what he meant by the second line was that people should stand together against hate -- but people took it literally and the idea for a march was born.
As News 12 reported, last month swastikas were found in a bathroom at Middlebrook Middle School on two separate occasions. An anti-Semitic note was found written on a student's locker as well.
Milnor says the marchers will set their sights on all acts of hate, bigotry and intolerance.
It begins 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilton train station and ends at the town green.
