My Father's Place – the legendary Roslyn club that introduced a generation to Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, The Police and Tom Petty – is reopening.
The Ramones used to play at "My Father's Place" along with the first reggae acts Long Islanders ever saw.
It featured national acts and local groups like The Good Rats before closing in 1987.
Owner Michael "Eppy" Epstein plans to reopen the club at The Roslyn Hotel in the spring.
He says the new venue will be more intimate with an emphasis on comfort and dining, in addition to great music.
