UCLA players thank President Trump for release from China

Three UCLA basketball players have thanked President Donald Trump for securing their release from jail in China.
Freshman LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley apologized and admitted to shoplifting from a high-end retail store while visiting the country.
"I would like to thank Mr. Trump and the United States government for the help that they provided as well. I'm grateful to be back home, and I’ll never make a mistake like this again,” Ball said.
Head Coach Steve Alford announced that the players will be suspended indefinitely. But he still described them "good young men."
Trump said that he raised their case with China's president when he visited Xi Jinping in Beijing last week while on his 12-day trip to Asia.
The president said that if he didn’t step in the three men could have faced up to 10 years in prison.
