A food bank in Monmouth County is making the holidays a little brighter for New Jersey residents in need.
The Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, also known as Fulfill NJ, is packing and distributing donated food at St. Mark’s Pantry in Keansburg.
Fresh produce, meat and potatoes will be handed out Saturday off of one of six trucks that are going around Monmouth and Ocean counties.
The goal is to make sure more than 100,000 families will have a warm Thanksgiving meal this Thursday.
Around 10,000 turkeys will also be distributed.
The food was donated by community members and businesses.
Those in need can also go to one of the food bank locations, such as St. Mark’s, to pick up their Thanksgiving meal.
