Today is Black Friday, but Americans spent $1.5 billion before Thanksgiving Day was even over.
According to Adobe Analytics, by 5 p.m. Thursday, consumer spending was up nearly 17 percent, most of it online.
Experts say stores will still be crowded though Friday, due to surging markets leading to stronger shopper appetite.
Uber's new CEO Dara Khosrowshahi knew about a massive data breach that affected 57 million users at the start of his tenure, but waited two months before informing impacted customers and riders.
The Wall Street Journal reports Khosrowshahi ordered an investigation he wanted completed before going public with the information. The undisclosed breach didn't happen under his watch.
For those who have ever wondered what gold tastes like, Hershey is releasing a new gold bar on Dec. 1.
It is Hershey’s first new bar in 20 years and doesn't contain any chocolate. It is made of caramel, pretzels and peanuts.
