The man suspected of shooting a bartender during an armed robbery in Stratford was arraigned today.
Jachim Brown was arraigned on assault, robbery and several gun charges Thursday morning.
Officials say Brown entered BAR on Main Street on Nov. 14 and demanded money from the bartender. They say Brown shot Regi Woodard in the stomach after getting the cash.
Brown has been in police custody since Nov. 16, in connection to a robbery from a clothing store.
Earlier this week, Stratford police also arrested Eric Chambers in connection with the BAR incident. They say he drove the getaway car.
Friends tell News 12 that Woodard had what they hope was his last surgery on Wednesday and that he is in good spirits. BAR is holding a fundraiser Dec. 9 to help Woodard with his medical expenses.
