Police arrested the alleged suspect in an early morning shooting Sunday, officials say.
Police say Michael Stinson, 44, was arrested after receiving a tip shortly after the shooting.
News 12 is told officers from the Anti-Crime Unit heard multiple shots being fired around 3:30 a.m
Chief AJ Perez says the shooting happened during a fight at a Nina's Hookah Lounge near Madison and Wheeler Streets.
Investigators say they found an illegal handgun under a seat in Stinson's car, then arrested him.
Stinson, who was described by Perez as a "career criminal," was placed under $150,000 bond and will go before a judge this week.
