General Electric is cutting 80 jobs in Norwalk, its last major office center in southwestern Connecticut.
The company moved some 500 employees to Norwalk from its former headquarters in Fairfield.
Senior executives were moved to Boston, where it's now based.
The cuts are affecting workers in its GE Digital unit, which is attempting to link industrial systems to Internet-based controls.
