A new task force is working to get the word out that manufacturing is alive and well on Long Island.
The LI Manufacturers Task Force's goal is to promote "Made on Long Island."
Anne Shybunko, president of GSE Dynamics, says there are over 3,000 manufacturing companies on the Island that are looking to build and expand, but need the support.  Shybunko says the task force has been created to train the next generation of workers.
It also aims to educate that manufacturing is an incredible career path, with wonderful jobs and products created on Long Island.
