Search enters 2nd week for Paterson woman feared abducted

The search for a Paterson woman who police fear was abducted during a carjacking has entered its second week.
Authorities on Tuesday went door-to-door in Paterson, handing out flyers and gathering any tips that could help them find Shanaya Coley.
Coley, who has a 3-year-old child, was last seen around 11 p.m. last Tuesday near Colonial Avenue in Paterson.
Police said a witness reported hearing a woman screaming and putting up a fight with someone. The fight allegedly turned violent when the witness noticed the suspect pull out a knife to stab Coley. The witnesses said the suspect pushed Coley, 24, into her car and drove off.
Authorities said Coley’s glasses and a trail of blood were found at the scene.
Police said Coley was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima with New Jersey plates R74-HRX. The vehicle is also still missing.
