Police: Tip leads to drug bust at Stamford McDonald’s

Posted: Updated:
STAMFORD -

Police say a tip helped them break up a drug deal in the parking lot of a McDonald's in Stamford.

It happened last week at the restaurant on East Main Street.

According to police, Jack Socci, 26, and Alanna DePaola, 21, were arrested after police found more than 30 bags of unmarked heroin in their SUV.

News 12 is told the heroin was unstamped, which may be part of a new trend designed to make it harder to trace back to its original source.
