Prosecutors: Brooklyn contractor scammed LI Sandy victims

A Brooklyn contractor has been charged with scamming Superstorm Sandy victims out large amounts of money.
Prosecutors say Richard Holowchak took money from five homeowners starting in 2014, but did little to no work on their properties.
News 12 was told that his business, Blue Diamond Construction, scammed the Long Islanders out of nearly $400,000.
Holowchak allegedly used that money on trips, boating and fishing.
