Christmas came a few days early for dozens of students at the Curiale School in Bridgeport.
Thirty bikes were raffled off earlier this morning to one student in each classroom.
Seven-year-old Ariana was the lucky winner in Mrs. D'Souza's second-grade class.
It's something the school has been doing for the past five years, thanks to Mimi Nelson with the special education department.
"It's overwhelming," she says. "It's like winning the lottery for them. They're smiling. They're happy. I'm happy. My friends are happy, and that's what Christmas is about."
Nelson says it's all possible thanks to her generous friends who help pay for the bikes each year.
Ariana says she was hoping she would win the bike because someone stole her old one.
In addition to the bikes, students are going home with a helmet courtesy of Trantolo and Trantolo law firm.
