Experts are offering some tips for people that want to eat better beginning this new year.
According to experts, half of your plate should be vegetables, one quarter should be protein and one quarter starch.
Experts say if you finish your plate, and you're still hungry, experts say refill your plate in the same way.
In addition, add protein to every meal.
Protein helps keep your blood sugar levels from spiking and then crashing.
The best way to stay healthy is by tracking everything you eat.
