NEWTOWN -

State police say they will release their report on the 2012 Sandy Hook School shooting Friday.

This report gives information on the police response during the school shooting five years ago.

A prosecutor's report in 2013 said that it took nearly six minutes for the first Newtown police officer to arrive at the school.

State police have never explained why it has taken so long to complete the ‘after-action’ review.
