Loved ones said goodbye Wednesday to a mother and daughter killed last week in Soundview.
A service for Sueharie Guzman, 29, and her mother Susan Trivino, 54, was held at Ortiz Funeral Home on Westchester Avenue in Parkchester.
Police say the two women were found with gunshot wounds inside their East 174th Street apartment. A man identified by family as Trivino's on-and-off boyfriend was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
That man, 52-year-old Jorge Vega, died of his injuries over the weekend. Family members say he was a former MTA bus driver and a police officer in Puerto Rico.
Trivino also worked as an MTA bus operator and is survived by a son. Guzman leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.
Trivino and Guzman will be laid to rest on Friday.
A motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
