The Redding Roadhouse, located on Redding Road, has reopened after being closed for several months.

The restaurant closed back in July after the previous owner died of cancer.

It was then sold to a couple from Easton.

Locals say they are excited to have the place back open.

“During the time this place was closed, the place was sorely missed,” says Gus Ford, of Redding. “I know I didn't go out to dinner as much. I didn't meet my friends as much. Some people who are locals here end up going to the Barn Door over across from Branchville, little pub other places that are local, but they aren't the Redding Roadhouse.”

The restaurant will serve dinner, plus lunch on weekends, along with their famous Sunday brunch buffet.
