<p>Stamford police say a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a car.</p>

Woman severely injured after being struck by car in Stamford
Stamford police say a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when she was struck by a car.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon.
Officials say, as the pedestrian was crossing the street she was hit by a 17-year-old driver.
That driver stayed at the scene until police arrived.
Authorities are currently investigating.
