Off-duty state trooper killed in crash

Connecticut State Police officers are mourning the loss of one of their own after an off-duty trooper who served Litchfield County died in a crash with a pickup truck.
State Trooper Danielle Miller was killed when her state police car collided with the truck in Walcott Saturday night.
At the time of the crash, Miller was off duty and out of uniform.
Miller had been with the state police since 2014, and was assigned to Troop L in Litchfield.
Police say the investigation into the crash is expected to take several weeks.
The other driver in the crash was released from the hospital Sunday morning.
