Man sought in Fairfield gas station robbery

FAIRFIELD -

A man with a knife robbed the Star Fuels convenience store near the intersection of Jennings Road and Block Rock Turnpike in Fairfield Sunday night, police say.

They are asking for the public's help tracking him down.

A single worker was the only one there during the robbery, police say. He was not hurt. 

Authorities say the suspect took money from the register and left.

Police say he is a white man with long brown hair. He is about 6 feet tall and appears to be in his 20s or 30s. News 12 is also told he had some scratches on his hands.
