As survivors, friends and family mourn the 17 lives lost in the Parkland, Fla. mass shooting, they're also turning their attention to putting an end to gun violence.  

A group of students will head to Tallahassee to speak with state legislators during a town hall meeting.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and Sen. Bill Nelson are among those who have accepted invitations and say gun reform needs to be addressed now.

The movement also has events set up for next month. On March 17, Women’s March organizers are backing a national school walkout to protest gun violence.

Then 10 days later, on March 24, there will be a student march on Washington, DC.

The students, some not even old enough to vote, will push for stronger gun legislation.

Cameron Kasky, a junior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, says, "You're either with us or against us. We are losing our lives while the adults are playing around."

Another national walkout will be held April 20, marking 19 years since the Columbine mass shooting.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a listening session with victims of the most recent shooting in Florida.
