Police in Bridgeport are looking for the woman wanted in connection with an assault that sent another woman to the hospital.

It happened Thursday around 12:30 a.m. outside the Bridgeport Variety Store on Park Avenue.

According to police, the victim was with her boyfriend when the other woman got of a car and attacked her with a bottle.

The victim was taken to the hospital for cuts to her face and her leg.

Police believe jealousy may have been the motive.
