KENT -

Friday's nor'easter brought snow and high winds to Kent in Litchfield County.

Despite the storm, Kent First Selectman Bruce Adams said it was just another March day.

Residents echoed that sentiment, saying they're used to the inclement weather. One person said they planned to go out to eat and maybe see a movie. Some others said they preferred to stay indoors.

The high wind brought down a tree across Route 7, closing it off for most of the day.

Eversouce Energy said Thursday that it was putting more crews around the state to deal with any power-related emergencies.
