BRIDGEPORT -

The wife of a Bridgeport man who was found shot to death Monday night says she believes her husband was the victim of a robbery.

Police say 48-year-old Alfonso Anderson was shot to death at Sunnyside Inn on Reservoir Avenue.

Anderson was a maintenance worker who came to the United States from Jamaica 20 years ago, seeking the American dream.

His wife, Benita, says her husband was a hard-working family man who never got into trouble.

She says she lost another loved one to murder 15 years ago, and that the death of her husband is testing her strength in a way she never thought possible.

Police are asking for the public's help identifying three men and a woman - captured on video at the scene of Anderson's death who are - persons of interest.
