Stamford was one of the many cities across western Connecticut still dealing with cleanup Sunday from Friday's nor'easter.

Among crews clearing roads and restoring power, a family worked on getting a tree removed from their house.

Although the Silverman residence has power, the large hickory tree fell on their roof and crashed into a bedroom. The family was looking for someone to remove the tree and fix the damage and says they're worried another storm might be on the way.

Other Stamford residents spent Sunday relying on generators, as they were still without electricity.

"The messages when you call up are the same thing, 'we're assessing the damage and we are getting to it as quickly as we can,' but this has been for three days now," says Alan Miller.

A spokesperson for Eversource said the utility is making steady progress, and they would have a majority of customers' power back on Sunday night.
