Lawmakers in Florida are trying to pass the "Sunshine Protection Act," which would keep the state in Daylight Saving Time all year long.
The bill now goes to the desk of Gov. Rick Scott.
But it's far from a done deal.
The state would join Hawaii and most of Arizona as the two places exempt from Daylight Saving Time.
Those who do recognize Daylight Saving Time will need to change their clocks back on March 11.
