Police: Jeep rolls over on Route 34

Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Rescue responded early Saturday morning to a jeep that had rolled over on Route 34.

News 12 Connecticut is told that the incident happened near Sherman Street.

Firefighters say the driver had left the area before they had arrived to the scene. They say they later took her to Danbury Hospital.

Further details surrounding the incident and the extent of the driver’s injuries were not immediately available.
