At the Norwalk Public Works Operations Center, staff members say they've had a busy couple of weeks -- that's because the city is still cleaning up debris from the last winter storm, with another on the horizon for Tuesday.
"We have been working around the clock," says Milton Giddiens, a heavy equipment operator.
Authorities said they had treated roads and prepared trucks to clear the next round of snow. Workers were scheduled to clock in Tuesday at 2 a.m.
And there was a bit of a scramble Monday to remove fallen trees and utility poles from the last storm.
People dropped off branches and logs all day to be packed up and trucked over to Bridgeport for recycling.
