Eli’s Tavern in Milford invites those working from ‘home’

Eli’s Tavern in Milford opened up to people working remotely Tuesday while the third nor’easter of the month blasted through the area.
They opened up a “work bar” with several televisions and “plenty of power outlets” for those who could not make it to the office.
The restaurant was already planning on inviting people to work remotely from the bar during the NCAA basketball tournament starting on Thursday. Mother Nature forced them to move up their plans.
"With the inclement weather, [we] figured we would start this a little earlier than normal,” said Brett Broesder, of Eli's Tavern. “I know tonight is the start of the tournament, but we figured it's a good time to figure out our brackets."
Milford saw nearly 6 inches of snow during Tuesday’s snowfall.
