Stray bullet nearly strikes young child in Bridgeport apartment

Bridgeport police says stray bullets entered a home and narrowly missed a young child.
The incident happened on Jane Street around 8 p.m. Friday night, leaving a bullet hole in the window of a first-floor apartment.
Police say about a dozen shots were fired in total – at least two of which entered occupied apartments.
They add that it is not clear who fired the shots, but there was likely more than one shooter.
No injuries have been reported and police are still investigating.
