Woman struck, injured in Jersey City hit-and-run crash

A woman is now recovering from a broken hip after she was hurt in a hit-and-run crash in Jersey City.
Police say that the woman was struck near the intersection of West Side Avenue and Boyd Avenue Sunday night. They say a black Jeep Cherokee struck the 25-year-old woman while trying to make a left off West Side Avenue.
Witnesses tell News 12 New Jersey that the woman was pretty banged up, but she is expected to be OK.
